...your 1st year expansion team, who's legendary anemic offense has been the talk of the town, finally unloads on a poor opposing pitcher?
I was playing the Padres at home (Alaska) and in the first inning, the first three batters got a hit, the next one struck out, and then Jeremy Giambi hits an upper deck grand slam. I ended up winning 14-4. Everyone but my pitchers had at least two hits. Giambi was 2 for 3 with 6 RBI's. Hidalgo and Tino Martinez were each 4 for 5. This kind of offensive output until this game had been unheard of, and it was nice to finally get some easy baserunners. So I guess the point of this message to all of you having trouble hitting is don't give up hope.
