Does anyone else think...

...that HH is one AWESOME bb game? I am enjoying this game so much more than any previous bb games i've played (and i've played since the front page sports bb series).
I'm the Indians, so of course i simmed the first season (NYY won the series), stunk up the joint and turned all my attention in FA and the draft to a decent pitching staff. Spent most of my points there and boy has it paid off.
After three weeks in the early season, I'm 8-4 and have bested the dreaded yankees by sweeping our first meeting together .
This game really has it all. I know it's not as flashy as WSB2k3 (I had 2k2 last year), but you can't touch the gameplay.
If you're not sure what bb game to get this season, give HH a serious look.
I'm curious to know what the rest of you think.

I'm playing with the Indians too, and I'm not simming my first season. You need to ride your team in the good and bad times.

I agree. I am a huge Sega Sports nut, however I just can't put this game down. The gameplay is so much better. Tweaking the sliders is a must to get more realism in speed of pitches. I'm surpised it was set to all 5's. Hopefully this will go Live next season!

Actually Gamer, I did play up to the "all star break" then simmed the rest of the way. But i understand your point.

If I eventually get to the point where I'm mathematically eliminated from making the playoffs, I'll sim the rest of my season.

Hell yeah I think this game is realistic and fun. I wish the graphics were better and there is more atmosphere to make you feel like you're at the ballpark (ballparks are kind of cartooney and not real lifelike). But the gameplay is true to the sport. The other games don't have this element. If you combined WSB graphics and atmosphere with HH gameplay, you'd have the ultimate game. If you ignore the graphics, HH rocks.

I definitely agree with you guys totally. I wanted HH last year, but then a friend offered me ASB for $25, so I went with that instead. Besides not being a fan of cursor hitting, I don't know what it exactly was about that game but it just put me to sleep. I got sick of it very quickly and kept wishing I picked up HH. I'm glad I picked it up right away this year because I am loving it! I get so into every game, and if I don't I pay for it which I love.

The BUMMER for me is that I broke my left thumb 2 weeks ago, and I still can't play. My girlfriend yelled at me yesterday when I unwrapped my thumb and tried to play anyway, but no dice. I thought I could play through the pain! Another week and I should be ready to come off the IR.
