    Say it ain't so!

I'm the D-Backs in franchise and have gone to my first playoffs. Against the Cardinals, I won the first series on a 3 run HR by Griffey into the swimming pool area at BOB. So I'm loving life until I go back out and happen to be looking at league stats. I notice that my players have had their playoff stats added into their regular season stats! And one of my pitchers has moved into 2nd in Cy Young voting because it's counting his playoff stats toward his season total. Please someone tell me that after the playoffs are over they remove the playoff numbers from the season/career totals. Please...

Is it really that big of a deal? It kinda sucks on the realism side, but it isn't that bad....

Mr October, I thought you were the baseball purist of the Board?? It doesn't bother you that this game which prides itself on historical integrity would allow a hallowed season record to be broken in the playoffs? So, if I hit 72 HRs with Junior Spivey next season and go to the playoffs, I could then have 19 more games to break the record.

I know it's not a big deal, I just wanted to know if anybody else noticed. But I think it only tracks the stats from the games you actually play. I simmed some playoff games and it didn't add those stats into the regular season stuff. So even less of an issue...
