Up until today, I had been playing 2k3 on my playstation. While I love the game, I was dissapointed in the graphics and sound. To me, it just didn't feel right.
After hearing time and time again about how 2k3 had such great graphics, I thought that I must have had the wrong version of the game.
After a lot of thought, I went to buy an Xbox today along with a copy of WSB. "Holy Cow" is all I can say.
1. The textures on the xbox are far superior to those of the ps2. It makes you wonder how they can both be the same generation console.
2. Moves much more smoothly. Not only is it easier on the eyes, but I can actually read pitches better! With my ps2 version, I would have trouble picking the ball up right away off the pitchers hand. Now, I see it more clearly then I ever imagined. I now realize how people can use such small cursors, when they have the xbox version.
3. Sound is the big difference for me. With my surround sound system, I can now totally take advantage of this game. The crowd is amazing and I feel like I'm at the ballpark. Not to mention, I can actually hear the crack of the bat.
I can't tell you what a difference there is.
