Last season he was 12-6 with 187 K's in 153 innings. and this is the Texas league a big time hiting league I mean Adam Piatt won a triple crown there... that'S right ADAM PIATT!. Harden was called up to AAA Sac today. by july the A's rotation will be Hudson, Zito, Mulder, Lilly, and Harden

They are gonna need him to succeed right away in the majors if Oakland wants to win a WS, not to mention a playoff series. Tejada's gone, and then Chavez will most likely be after 2004, i think. They'll need some kind of offense. And then you hit 05 and 06, the Big 3 are up for Big contracts. Oakland will be able to afford one at most. And the farm system seems to have dried up. Marcus McBeth? Joe Valentine? These next 2 years for Oakland will be their best chance for a long, long time.

Damn, that's mighty impressive. I went to high school with Eric Chavez so I always kinda root for the A's in the postseason.

Look for Ted Lilly to have a big year..my favorite pitcher..still don't know why the Yankees traded him..a good left hander who will do very well

Shady, I second the Lilly comment. I think he's going to prosper in Oakland.

Is Alameda County Stadium still considered a pitchers' park?
