how do you just drop a player in franchise?

    how do you just drop a player in franchise?

    i dont see how i can release somebody, thx for any help

    I have the PS2 version, I'm not sure the differences in the systems, but on the PS2, you simply goto the roster adjustment screen, highlight the "status" of the player you want to change, hit the square button, and select from "high minors, low minors, release or active roster". The same is true for putting a guy on or off of the 40 man roster as well. You can do almost anything from this screen, except trade, but you can place players on or off the trading block from there.

        cool. i couldn't figure that out, either.

        I"ve been sending guys down with the hopes that they'll get picked up on waivers.
