why is it with barry bonds every time i get a mistake pitch i crush it and it barely clears the wall??

one instance i hit one and it barely cleared the wall the ai fileder attmepted to grab it and it was no where near him maybe about 5 feet to the left and they still called me out.. end result i lost the game cause of it...

Well if your Bonds for example and u get a mistake pitch in the middle of the plate. Aim up and to the right (like u were aiming for mcovey) if u time it right it goes like 600 feet.

And if it's outside it'll do you more good to go opposite field than it will to try and pull it.

        good luck,

I wish they would show how far homers go, it's not really all that important but it's just one of those things that go with baseball and homeruns. If you're watching real game and someone hits a jack the announcers tell you how far it was. Just one of those little things that you take for granted until it isn't there....

Also, I don't think it would be too difficult for them to add this in a patch, they already have distance tracking in the homerun derby.

I've heard the announcers make note of it during a game. Not the exact distance but after crushing a homerun with Robin Ventura the announcer said, "he hit that one well over 400 feet!"

                    So that was nice
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer
