I was wondering if it is possible to hit homeruns with just swinging at pitches and not using the left analog stick to choose the direction to hit the ball?

Yes, but the guy you're hitting with will have to have alot of power. If they don't have alot of power you'll need to have a mistake pitch in the red and alot of luck....

I crushed a homer last night with Reyes(who in my 6th yr of my franchise is just a beast). I just happened to swing at an inside fastball, and he launched that bad boy into the cheap seats in SD.
The pitch was in his Hotzone, but i didnt press anything besides X

I crushed a homer last night with Reyes(who in my 6th yr of my franchise is just a beast). I just happened to swing at an inside fastball, and he launched that bad boy into the cheap seats in SD.
The pitch was in his Hotzone, but i didnt press anything besides X

It doesn't have to be a huge power hitter. I've hit HR's without the analog stick with Santiago, Aurillia, and Durham.Comment

Doesn't necessarily have to be a power hitter, just needs to be a decent pitch and perfect timing. I hit one with Hiram Bocachica of the Tigers in my franchise . . the fact that most of you have no clue who he is should give away that he isn't a huge, monstrous hitter.Comment

I know who Hiram is, but I'm a Twins fan so I should have some idea of who the Tigers are throwing out there this year.
Sorry Kredit, but I have to hope that infusing the franchise with some Tiger legends doesn't lead them to have a winning team any time soon. On the flip side I hope that Alan Trammell makes a good manager. If he's half as good as he was while he was playing he should be fine.

I know who Hiram is, but I'm a Twins fan so I should have some idea of who the Tigers are throwing out there this year.

Well maybe i just haven't got the timing down because through 12 games in my Orioles franchise i have 1 homerun and that was with Conine and i had the analog stick pressed toward left field. Segui, Gibbons and Batista haven't done jack in the power dept so far.Comment
