    Back to Back World Champs

Last night my New Orleans Admirals won their second straight World Series beating the Chicago White Sox 4-2...MVP was my rookie pitcher Jesus Cruz...a 6'7 230 20 year old from Dallas, Texas...went to school at Illinois State. in the year he went 9-9 with a 5.07 ERA but in the playoffs he went 3-0 with a 1.10 ERA....with a 16 K performance against the Houston Astros in the NLCS Game 7.

Biggest Home Run Hitter is Josh Robinson...a 6'0 208 RF....in his second year with the club he hit .279 33HR's 119RBI and 27SB...he also won the Gold Glove in RF and the Golden Hammer in RF....was a reserve on the NL All Star Squad...one of my 6 representatives...including 4 starters.

We play at the Z Dome (reminds me most of the Superdome in NO)

What are the celebrations like? Without giving anything away are they cool?

Did you play most of your games for the season?

I'm also playing in the Z Dome and I'll play a series then sim a couple of series, etc. Through 70 games, my leading hitter is Erstad. He leads the team in HR with 7, RBI with 38. I have a created player leading the league in hitting at .338.

Seems like even when I play the games at the Z dome I don't hit a lot of dingers. The ones I do hit are usually by my weaker hitters. My studs stink it up

But the Z dome rocks. . . .and it makes me concentrate more on my pitching. The slightest mistake up in the zone can be popped up for a 266 foot homer.

In a nutshell, they are non-existant. The whole World Series atmosphere is cool, with all the players lined up for the National Anthem, but the win is anti-climactic. My pitcher walked off of the field, gave a hi-five to the catcher, I saw someone jump up and down in the background, then Thom Brennamen said something to the effect of "another season is over, GM's are already preparing for next year, blah, blah, will it be your team here next year?" Who cares?! I was there now! I swept the Yankees with the Braves, give me something! It happened last night, so I am still a little bitter.
Overall satisfaction also makes the decline!!!!!!!!!!!!
