When batting using "behind the pitcher" cam...

Which way do you press on the analog stick to "pull" the ball? Likewise, which way is considered "opposite field"? Because if it's what it says in the manual, then it's backwards of intuitive thinking.

For instance, when a right hander is up, you'd want to press "up and right" on the stick to pull a ball in the air. But if you're batting from behind the catcher, that would be an opposite field hit. I wonder if they reversed it for the pitcher cam? I certainly hope so. Otherwise, it's tough to think counter to what seems necessary when a 94 mph heater is coming your way.

Anyone prove one way or another?

Think of it as aiming for the field based on where the batter is in the box. Using pitcher cam, you would see a right handed batter on the right hand side of the plate, so aim up+right to pull the ball. Vice-versa for lefties.

When using the plate camera, a righty is on the left side of the plate to you, so you'd aim up+left to pull the ball.

Ok, that's what I was wondering. I just hadn't been able to confirm this yet. Thanks!

I bat in the behind the pitcher view and it seems to be easier to hit a HR to the opposite field. Right handed batter press analog stick up and left!
