Another well thought out comment! I never actually tried running another download or anything while the MLBTV window was open. I just assumed like most other live web streams, it pretty much maximizes out a DSL line.

And it doesn't have anything to do with my computer (unless it was a REALLY bad computer), it would be a DSL bandwidth problem.

I guess it would be okay if you don't mind watching tv at your computer. I would rather watch it on TV though.

I understand your frustrations too Philliesfan. I'm in delaware and i subscribed to the Extra Innings package because Comcast doesnt service my area.
But this is the kicker. Even though I dont get comcast down here they still black out the games on DirecTV. I get some games on there but they also black some out. So i only get to watch about 50 percent of the Phillies games. Ive contacted DirecTV about this and they've told me that its in the works to try and get Comcast Sportsnet Philly on the dish. I've just recently got Comcast Baltimore on the dish so hopefully Philly is coming.

                grow up?

speaking of well though out posts...

i hate to break this to you...but ram has as much to do with your bandwidth as does that actual internet connection

being an actual subscriber...not a simple minded guesser...i can sat that it does little damage to my bandwidth...I sometimes forget that i had it running.

if you are lacking ram...this would not be possibly.

Something that has completely baffled me............
is that living in Indianapolis, I can not get Reds games with Extras Innings. They are blacked out.
                    WTF?

Well I have 512 Megs of pc3200, so I don't think thats a problem. Not the fastest, but a p4 2.0 mhz for the processor.

What kind of internet connection do you have? I have dsl, and generally get 90k a second dl speed.

I should say 90k a second FTP time, its a little different. Generally my downstream is anywhere from 700k to 850k a second, my upsteam sucks, only 135k a second.
