    Repetitive CPU pitching patterns

After playing a ton of games, I'm noticing some unmistakable pitching patterns to certain hitters. I play the Mets, and 90% of the time Piazza will be started out with 2 balls out of the zone, usually away, followed by a hittable off speed pitch, up and in. (It's really sad when I know this is coming and still miss it.) To EA's credit, it's not all the time, and most other players don't seem to have such predictable patterns. Just something I noticed. Anyone else notice patterns with their batters?

No I haven't. Would be interesting to see a pitch chart that has pitch type, pitch location, game situation, etc etc to see if that were actually true. Don't think I'll be in any mood to do that though.

I loved the pitch chart in ASB. I still find myself trying to access it in MVP.

depends on the pitcher. If its a top pitcher/reliever, they'll run the risk of throwing a first pitch strike to fool you. But it will always be in the corner.

But I've noticed that Soriano, Jeter, Giambi, Bernie usually get 2 balls to start the count. That's the first four batters in my lineup (yea I realize I'm the Yanks, so it helps) and it causes early inning problems for the AI. If I take advantage.

The chaneups on 2-0, 2-1 pitches killme though. I end up missing potential homeruns on those things.

I personally have never paid attention to CPU pitching patterns. I'm too busy watching the pitch and trying to hit it.
