I lost a game last night because of the stupid pickoff bug. I had 2 outs on me in the bottom of the ninth when i got picked off for the third time in the game!I really love this game, but this pickoff stuff is really horrible.Has anyone figured out how to stop this from happening?

what pickoff bug? if you HAVE TO take an extra step on your lead off, you just press "R" to make him go back. there is no bug. your runner wont autmatically go back to the base.Comment

Don't take a big lead. If my guy is fast enough, he'll steal a base with or without a lead.Comment

If you have someone with 80+ speed, you don't need to use the left trigger to get that 'extra' jump...unless the pitch is a fastball (or a likewise 'fast' pitch) and the catcher has a gun for an arm, your guy will more often than not get the base. EVERY time I take a lead by using the trigger, I get nailed.Comment
