    Rich Harden

Does anyone know of any websites where I can get information on this A's prospect. I'd like to add him into the game as a minor leaguer and have him replace Halama in the rotation.
Anyone with more information on him other than the fact that he's a Righty, throws hard and is 21.

BTW, is there a way to delete a created player that was imported into the FA roster?

    courtesy of baseball america ...

6-foot-1, 180 pounds ... throws right, bats left ... fastball (reaches 95 mph), deceptive changeup, slider (ok), spitter (above average) ...

    hope that helps ...

            Re: Rich Harden

He can throw about 98 or so I think...

Astros scout Scipio Spinks reported of Harden, "his first pitch was 99 (mph) and he got better as he went along."

The comparisons of Harden to Jim Palmer appear real. As much like Palmer had, Harden has an easy arm action with an explosive jumping fastball (he hit 98 mph consistently this spring), curveball and split ..."

"He throws so easy that when it looks like he throwing 88, he's really throwing 98," another scout said.

Mary Mother of God. I had no idea he had a hand cannon. When they said that he went 18 up and 18 down with 17 SO's I thought it was because he had excellent control. He just blows people away.

Oh yes, he has a cannon. They are comparing him to Tim Hudson when he was a minor leaguer (they say he probably will be better than Tim). Will be on my radar for my fantasy leagues this season.
