Don't know, I think if your manager rating is too low for a long enough time you get canned.

From reading previews, I think that the franchise goals don't necessarily lower your manager rating, but they do increase it. But, like snepp said, if your rating is low for a while, you'll get the axe.

from have simulated a few seasons for the heck of it,
from what i can tell basically if you dont acheive any goals
your rating doesnt go any lower its more of your won/loss
record that keeps you graded, i simmed two seasons
with the devil rays lost 103 games the first year and 109 the
next i got an F and they fired me.
