I have had the game for a week now, and i was having the same problem. For me it was mainly because i was swinging to early at every pitch. To hit a bomb, you have to kind of wait a little longer than you should, because the players batspeeds are godlike on this game. Try it out and see if it helps

I just started a new franchis with the cubs and in the first two games Sosa has 4HR's and 9RBI's!!! First game he hit a solo then one with 3 on. The next game he hit a grand slam then a solo in the 5th. You'd think with a guy hitting like that that maybe the Mets would pitch around him?!? That's one major gripe I'm having early into my franchise. Sosa has acounted for 9 of my 10 runs!! The CPU should definetly be pitching around him in the final of a 3 game series with the Mets...right?!
