Just in case you are lazy, I'll help you out..

Select your runner (push button corresponding to the base your runner is on), then select what base you want to steal with the directional pad.

Take a full lead off the base

Call your steal before the pitcher starts to throw

Always slide head first

I find you get injured easier that way..

Head first seems to be faster and less likely to get tagged out. The injuries do suck though, I try to avoid using head first unless I think I have to.

Well, since I'm having some difficulties stealing bags with my Tigers, I'm going to have to give this head first thing a try..
