    Going back to HH

WSB is anawesome game, but, it just can't match HH's realism. I gave both games a very good oppurtunity to win my heart, and I find the only reason I stopped playing HH is because WSB has an in game save option.

I popped HH in last night for the first time since WSB released, and the realism is just phenominal. In the 1st inning I saw things that WSB just doesn't do. Like a run down between 2nd and 3rd. Not an ordinary rundown either, the CPU 3rd baseman threw it into RF and my guy took 3rd. It's little things like that that make HH my game of choice this year.

I'm tired of tinkering with WSB to find good settings and all that BS when all I have to do is pop in HH and it's the perfect baseball simulation of all time.

WSB, excellent job, just not there for me yet.

That reminds me of NBA2k3 and Inside Drive.

Drive just provides a more realistici output in the longrun.

Soooooo many little things that make the game great in ID.

I wont be playing WSB for too too long, but its a great game IMO, for a semi baseball fan.

And E, you're nuts if you think you don't need to tinker with sliders to make HH play like real baseball.

Im not gonna argue that it's not more realistic though... cuz it is. I just prefer the way WSB plays to HH. The ball movement in HH is assinine.

While I agree that HH gives a more realistic simulation of basebnall...SOMETHING about WSB just pulls me in..perhaps it's the graphics, perhaps it's the more robust franchise mode, or maybe it's the 5.1 surround sound on X-Box ( ), I don't know. I have NEVER played a 'full' season on ANY baseball game, EVER, and I just completed my first season in franchise with the Cubs on WSB and am looking forward to starting the next one.... My stats weren't completely 'out of whack' either. No one finished with a .400 BA (let alone several), the HR king (Sosa, of course) had 68, with Bonds having 59, and the strikout leader had a total that was similar to those of years past.... I'm sure I would have had similar results with HH, but when I can get realistic results AND good graphics, etc., I can't complain.....

Yea, it was a bad throw from 3rd and it went into right field.

Mort, the only thing I changed on HH was the errors, injuries, simulation and foul ball sliders. It's the best sports simulation ever, period.

True, sliders need to be adjusted, and after adjusting them it's baseball gameplay heaven. I agree, ball movement is a little exaggerated, however don't you think the batter/pitcher interface is top notch?

Nah, that honor goes to NHL 2k3 or Winning 11. It's a good game though.
