ok, after trying it for 1 game last night, i think you may be right about the "just tap it" theory. i had my first outfield assist. Coincidence?.. maybe, but i have to totally change the way i use the buttons on the controller... is anyone else having the same trouble with the pitching backdrop in some of the stadiums? so far great american ballpark is the worst, but certain pitchers, and pitches are a hassel in yankee stadium because of the white team logos out in CF. Anyone know of any other stadiums with this problem?

Have you tried it anymore? Is it working?

yes, the only problem i have is for some reason, i like to press the buttons down and hold them, or even tap numberous times, thinking it will help with the strangth of the throw, even though i know deep down inside, it wont make a difference, but yes, after about 4 or 5 games of making sure i concentrate on this specifiacally, you were coreect about what i was doing. I havent had any probs with it since your posting... thank you
