This doesn't look good for him.

If this guy was banned and everyone in the league knew it, then there is no way he could always be by Rodriguez's side every where he went. It doesn't make sense.

Can we just delegate one entire thread for the A-Rod happenings?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

These threads right now about Arod get tiresome especially since the media is just getting into this story in its early stages. So if we keep on making threads everytime there is a breakthrough in the story. We'll soon have a 1000 threads. Not to mention once the media starts tracking down the other 103 names. I mean how much more can we say on this subject. He took steroids, he lied about it, then he told the truth, (well, some of the truth.) And nothing will come of this because baseball can't do a thing. And a footnote to all of this is. . . . everyone who is chasing this story down, everyone of us that reads and judges any of these players, all I need to point out is, while all of what they did is wrong. How many of us would be above doing it if all that money was out there for you based on your performance. I would guess not many of us.

Me too. It's basically because the guy is telling lie after lie. He got busted and is still lying.

Good god, this is so pathetic on ESPN and all of these media outlets. They're turning sports journalism into a joke. It's basically just becoming tabloids.

It's the facts, now I will agree that they've sensationalized it a bit but the truth is out there. It's not like they're making up stories here.

A-Rod is looking worse by the day and I bet my life that this "cousin" of his is made up too.

                          Re: Banned trainer and A-ROID.

Just like the rest of the users, he would admit to what could be proven and lie about the rest, like I've said.

The problem with A-Rod is that he is so uptight and self absorbed that he made a cover story that tried to make it seem like he wasn't on any professional kind of cycling schedule and didn't even know for sure what he was taking. Trying to make it seem like WOW, this guy really is the greatest of all time, Bonds had measured doses and schedules and A-Rod was injecting dishwasher fluid.

He wants you to believe he had monster seasons clean, I don't and never have believed him. All of his stories are trying to make it seem like he really is this amazing freak of nature, he's not. He's just another chemically fueled monster putting up video game stats unattainable without drugs. It KILLS him to be exposed, more than any other player.

I believe the second he was busted (or before) was the second he went to HGH exclusively. He wants 50 homers this season and he wants you to believe it's clean, he wants this and upcoming seasons to prove he's a monster without any help. I believe the second he walked out of his press conference he loaded up on the maximum dose of HGH.

A-Rod will be on HGH all season, there is no way he will play clean and hit 27 homers, his ego will not allow it. You can call him A-Growth now.

This part of your response is really interesting. I'm sure A-Rod wants the HRs but if he hits 50 or close to that then you're going to have people doubting the validity of it. If I were him I'd try to stay on the down-low and just, I dunno, try not to hit so many HRs?

A-Rod is a guy that is super sensitive to fan reaction and the media scrutiny so I can see him having a sub par season anyways.
