    HELP ON PITCHING??

How do I pitch good and make it realistic? About 1/3 the time I pitch a ball the computer swings and misses and when I pitch a strike they usually hit it? Am I doing something wrong? Or Can you give me some tips for pitching well.

Mix up the pitches, throw both balls and strikes, concentrate on the speed and location of the pitches. Throw a couple offspeed and then throw a fastball high and tight. High fastball is a good strikeout pitch (ball or strike).

But they always swing on bad pitches. Is there a slider I can change to fix it?

Maybe up the level??? On lower levels they do swing at a lot of junk. Every once in a while they'll swing at bad pitches when I pitch, but not all the time (and certainly not with guys who have high patience ratings).

A guy like Preston Wilson will swing at a lot of bad pitches while a guy like Bonds won't...

I was playing on pro but moved it up to the next level. They now hit everything in the strike zone. And I also cant control my pitches well. Here is exactly what I do. I dont know if im doing right because I dont have a instructions manual. First i pick the pitch then I move the analog stick like diagonal or wherever I want it then I let go so the analog stick so its back to its normal position then I click x for strike. But most of the time it doesnt got where I want it to go. Am I doing something wrong?

Well, I don't know if your doing anyting wrong, but here's how I pitch. I don't use the analog stick because I've never liked it (just a personal pref).

I'll select the pitch (and I don't always start a guy off with strikes). Early in the game I tend to start off guys with fastballs or changeups inside. Later in the game I start them off with Curves in the dirt (using the O button).

If I want an inside fastball for a strike I hit X, press inside on the D pad and hold it, then press X again to pitch the ball. I'll let go of the D pad once the ball is released. I've always pitched this way, just out of habit.
