Has anyone been pitched around as much as B. Bonds?

I've been watching a few Giants games, and they just are flat our SCURRED to pitch more than like 6 strikes a game to dude.

He seriously has the league SHOOK-DADDY. Can you IMAGINE what he would be doing if he would get like 2-3 strikes ptched to him per at bat?

It's also amazing how he remains focused. He's been quoted as saying that he actually doesn't even expect to be pitched to more than 4 times a game. The amazing thing is he remains on point and when he IS pitched to chances are he's making great contact with the ball. I think that has a lot to do with his amazing bat speed, he gets the bat into the zone faster than anyone I've ever seen.

He truly is an AMAZING and scientific hitter.

The best I've seen with these two eyes.

He has 1936 walks lifetime. Last year he had near 198 and this year he already has 14 walks. He can keep playing until his arms fall off, since the pitchers are scared to pitch to him.

Which makes me wonder......how would pitchers handle Ruth in this era? He would probably get just as much or MORE walks then Bonds.

If i was over there i wouldn't pitch around ya'll since i'm a pitcher. I would barry bonds....but it would depend on what the game looks like. But i won the most games on my team and on the league for that matter. I was something like 14-3. I plan to start pitching again.WATCH OUT MLB! I think people would pitch around hank aaron if he was still playing.

He has BY FAR more walks in the past 3 years than anyone else in any other 3 year period in history. He blew past the season intentional walk record last year that was held by Willie McCovey. I would have to say that no one has even come close to being pitched around like he has.

Bonds is the most feared hitter in baseball, period. I believe that given the chance he will catch and surpass Aaron. I also believe that one day A. Rod or Sosa will then catch Barry. I believe that Barry's record of 73 may one day fall, but no one will ever, ever, break the record of 73 HR's in the same season they break the record for walks, as Barry did. If somebody is going to catch those records it's going to be a free swinger, a guy that is not a team player (won't take his walks).
