Graphics and Animations vs Last Years HH

How much better are the graphics and animations this year vs last year game.

I ask because I am considering purchasing this game. I have all the other baseball titles released this year. So far ASB is the best IMO on realism and graphics.

BK told me they are much better than last year, and the best they've ever been. I think I'm about to go pick this up right now.

Hey Glessig, didn't you use to hang out in the old HH forums? Anyway I think the graphics are much improved. And the animations in the field are very well done.

Stadium graphics still pale in comparison when compared to ASB and WSB. But are much improved when compared to past versions.

Player models are o.k., animations GREATLY improved. Many downloads. One thing that turned the game completely around for me was updating my video card to 128MB. Man, what a difference. Not one ounce of slow down, nothing. It's driving all the hi-res unis, crowds, everything.

I think the game is great looking.

It is no WSB but it captures the look of baseball spot-on IMO.

The stadiums are expansive and majestic, they really are scaled well...it really feels like you are playing in a major league steadium. Some games don't seem to get this right...it is hard to explain, but some games just don't give you that feeling of a stadium towering over you like this game.

Also the field textures are much better, not nearly as good as other games but worlds above last year. Player models are decent, they could use some more accurate coloring though. For example, the Angels uniforms have a more pinkish red to them than an actual red.

Animations are a million times better than last year. Very fluid, and there are alot of them. I am impressed in this department.

I really dig the graphics in this game, like I said they may not be the most technologically advanced, especially compared to other games on the market but it just looks and feels like baseball....I don't think any other game captures that look and feel like High Heat does. It's hard to explain, try it for yourself
