Homerun Derby Question

I have heard a couple people say they have hit homeruns well over 550ft. My farthest is about 510ft. I was wondering if there was a trick or something to hit them farther.

I dunno if you'd call this a trick, but I point the cursor all the way in toward my body with it tilted up ever so slightly!
That's how i hit one 581Ft!!
And I used Josh Gibson!!

yeah, i heard your hr derby at night post, thanks. So when you hit that one you were using the "contact cursor" and not the "power cursor". I have always used the "power cursor" because I thought you hit the ball farther with it. By power cursor I mean the one when you press X and it becomes smaller and square shaped.

yeah, i heard your hr derby at night post, thanks. So when you hit that one you were using the "contact cursor" and not the "power cursor". I have always used the "power cursor" because I thought you hit the ball farther with it. By power cursor I mean the one when you press X and it becomes smaller and square shaped.

Motown, I hit one 576 ft with Sosa last night. I just can't catch that 581. hahaha It seems to be that long home runs come in bunches...I must have had at least 10 540ft plus bombs. And between the two leagues I hit 159 home runs on the 5 swing modern level. The score ended up being 80-79. I've never had a score even approach that before. I used the power cursor, I just can't hit the tape measure shots in contact mode.
