Even though Sosa does the blowing kisses, hopping after the hr, etc., I honestly dont think any other players see it as showboating. He's too respected around the league for others players to hate him, at least thats the way it seems. I dont think it was intentional. The hr Sosa hit earlier in the game was off of Fogg, not Torres. Plus, the Pirates had the lead at the time, so Torres had no reason to intentionally hit anyone. I was watching the game, and it looked like his helmet shattered, at least the earpiece did.

He did throw inside before the hit, right? If that's not intentional than I don't know what is.

Btw, was there a bench clearing brawl?? I would go after the pitcher if it was one of my team-mates.

No, there was no brawl, and no, it wasn't intentional.

If the Cubs had thought it was intentional, they wouldn't have waited until Torres batted a few innings later to hit him in the thigh. They would have thrown at someone else, and not a their thigh.

" I look at him and it's getting to the point where it's just scaring me. He looks younger but he doesn't carry himself in a younger manner. He's impressive, and I'm glad we drafted him. "
