Ok guys Ive been playing on All-Star for about 10 games now and Im Averaging about 8K's a game (HI-12, Low-5).
Ok some first off im using the Cardinals Pitching Staff.
Basicly what I have noticed is hitters will chase pitches
out of the strikezone.
I always try to get out to a 0-2 lead on the batter. I then
throw a couple balls that arent close but are fastballs to get
the hitters timing on the fastball. Now its 2-2. I make the
hitter chase a pitch. I like doing this on a outside corner. If
the batter has a cold zone on the upper or lower corner
try to hit that. If I dont get the K there its 3-2. I then throw
a Curve/Slider/CU something off speed since ive been
throwing all the fastballs at them. I aim it towards the
bottom inside corner.
Ok here is what I mean about making a hitter chase a pitch.
You will want to turn the cursor on until you learn the feel
of where it is. But with the cursor on you have to have
the ball touching the box of the stirkezone. But dont have any
of the ball inside the box. Hitters will chase pitches when
they have 2 strikes against them.
Ok so what do you guys do to get K's on All-Star?
