I thought only 19 of them were banned, unless that was the whole team.

Only 8 players were banned... Remember the movie "Eight Men Out"? Jackson took the money and that was all Landis needed to ban him him. Although the irony is that all 8 were cleared by a Grand Jury and not all 8 apparently got money but were banned for being part of the plan.

As long as Acclaim or any baseball game wants to have the MLB license, banned players like Jackson and Rose will not be in them. Unless they are reinstated.

I am actually a fan of Shoeless joe, but I understand why he's banned. And don't think he should ever be allowed into the Hall...but if they lift Pete Roses ban, then they should do the same for Joe. And as for the .375 he hit, must of his hits were after the game was pretty much over, or with nobody on base, making his hits pretty much a non factor. Say it ain't so Joe, say it ain't so...

SOME of the games were winnable...most weren't. Especially by a single or a double, which was all Jackson hit, except for the one home run. When the game was on the line Joe let up, he said that himself. And the fact of the matter is that he took the money, granted he tried to give it back, but not til after they had been found out.
