    Homeruns GIVEN UP

how many homeruns have you guys given up in a game before. i just started a expansion franchise and gave up 6. Thome had 2, Abreu 1, Lieberthal 1, Rollins 1, Bell 1. i was so mad to because it was the first game at my new expansione home and i didn't even get a homer. these guys were hitting everything. curve ball in the dirt... cya. slider up high... ding dong that ball is gone. any pitch i threw was pretty much hit into the outfield. i play at Whitaker Grounds. even Kevin Millwood hit one to the waring track.

so how many have you given up in a game.

This is why I NEVER choose Whitaker Grounds. For your outfeilders to reach the ball in time, they pretty much have to have an A+ speed ranking, the outfeild is THAT HUGE, and the space between the first and third bases and the foul line is RIDICULOUS, that park is impossible to pitch in, choose a better one, and might I suggest making sure there are no major distractions on the outfeild wall, I played in Enzo once and the grape vines draped over the outfeild wall kept distracting the hell outta me.

I hate to say it, but start your expansion over if you want to win even one game at home.

i may start over but i want to play one or 2 more games at home and see how i do. if i continue to suck it up giving up that many homers with a pretty good pitcher. i'll switch. i don't want to quit because i started a journal for this franchise over at baseballgaming.net

I see what you're saying, when my franchise started off, the Yankees (the team I first faced) hit around 9 against me in their place. Meatloaf, just hit your corners and their cold spots, once you get to them, they won't hit. Same story with my guys pre-generated pitch count.

Barry Bonds went yard twice against me last night. The last time was in the top of the 9th,I ended up losing 4-2.

My team record when giving up a homer, 9-7. C'mon, they need to take advantage.
