Fun to play outside the franchise once in a while...

Thought I'd take a break from my season and play a reg game..

I was the Legend team facing the NL All Stars at the Polo Grounds in NY. Beautiful stadium!

Randy Johnson facing Bob Gibson (one could only imagine).

Bonds puts the NL up 2-0 in the 6th with a 520 foot shot...

I almost tie it up in the 6th, but Sosa goes into the deep part of the stadium and makes a total Willie Mays catch on me to save two runs. I couldn't get back to the base on time, as I thought there was absolutely no way he could ever make that catch.

I end up tying it in the 7th...2-2

Ninth inning...two outs...Reggie Jackson spanks a single up the middle.

I pinch run Lou Brock (second on all-time steals list). He takes second.

I then pinch hit Rod Carew into the game and he wins it with a slap single..

I love this game! (sorry to infringe on NBA copyrights)

The Legends team & the classic stadiums are awesome. I wish they would've given you the option of using Legends' pitching windups & batting stances for created players. Those windups are a thing of beauty.

What I love to do is load my franchise roster and take my Cubs up against the Legends or play an AL team in one of the old time stadiums. I like to see how the team i have made stacks up against the best. Usually we stack up way short and loss. .badly.
