Pedroia is better offensively and defensively. The only thing Phillips has is that he is fast.

Do you want me to post Phillips first two years in the majors? Pedroia is a better hitter than Phillips. And It's really either or on defense.

I'm not saying Phillips is completely out of the question, but I'm saying that you'd take Phillips over Pedroia is certainly foolish.

Yeah you are probably right, if I had to choose one or the other I would take Pedroia.
But Phillips is still the better Defensive player. They have really similiar #'s offensively tho.

Dustin is a better average hitter, Phillips is a better power hitter.

I will say, I do like Brandon's defense. Always have, always will.

Its pretty common knowledge among baseball people that Brandon is the best defensive 2B in the game today. My best friend is a scout for the DBacks and we just had this conversation about a month ago, its truly amazing how good he is.
