    Milwaukee Brewers talk thread

Yeah, I know... they're probably the most boring team in the majors (SI said they have the least talent in the majors), but hey at least they're not the Tigers... so anyone that remembers Bambi's Bombers, Harvey's Wallbangers, Treb's Troops or Garner's Gang (or even those that liked Davey Lopes) you can "bring it" here...

So far: 8 and 11 (this after an 0 and 6 start)

Last: Took 3 of 4 from the Astros this past weekend and have moved out of the NL Central cellar

Next: 3 game series at Florida starting Tuesday

i might be one of the few but i think if they can stay healthy, keep on giving this kind of effort, then they can win 70 games. heck maybe, JUST maybe they could reach .500?? oh yeah, it would also be nice to take helms out of the lineup and put ginter in at third. with helms in the its like they have 2 pitchers batting cuz holy crap does he suck

I actually think the Brewers are a underrated team. Yeah they arent going to make the playoffs but they should win some games. I was at the game Saturday, I was really surprised to see them score the tying run off Billy Wagner in the 9th. Ned Yost managed the game well. So they might have a decent manager now. I like Sexson and Jenkins in the middle of the lineup. I think they have a good chance of finishing ahead of the Reds and maybe the Pirates in the NL Central.

the brewers arent to shabby this year. i think that they have some talent that needs to be developed, like Alex Sanchez. he makes some STUPID baserunning errors. i think that the brewers are lookin a helluva lot better right now in the season than they did last year. they are, i guess you could say, on a tear right now takin 3 of 4 from the astros and they might start getting on a roll. that game on saturday was a classic. Glendon Rusch pinch hitting and the astros thinkin hes bunting and you see Glendon swinging away on the first couple pitches. what a guy. but does anyone else think that his so called "bunt" really wasnt a bunt? i think that they made a mistake because he sorta chopped at the ball, therefore making it an Infield Fly. even if it was i think EY mighta been able to score from 3rd still cuz Kent was running backwards. however, i think the brewers wont be bad this year if they can keep some key players healthy, ie, Jenkins. hes been killing the ball since coming back from injury. we need to unload Hammonds this year too. i dont think anyone wants him though. Dean Taylor is a moron for getting that guy in a Brewers Uni, lucky for us fans, we dont have Taylor to dick with our team anymore. I think the brewers will be a .500 team, IF they stay healthy(Sheets has to have a good year too)
Well now, everything dies, baby that's a fact. But maybe everything that dies, someday comes back. - The Boss

The Brewers are such an underated team. They have alot of talent, but no one really notices them. Beause they've had a bad decade of baseball. This year, I'm calling for them to atleast get over .450 and possibly .500.... Their my next favorite team to the Cards
