    MLB considers playing in Europe..

    story..

    All though it ain't decided yet, we will find out during the All-Star break, it's great that the game is expanding throughout the world.

        Road trips over there would be hell, especially for the west coast teams... something like an 8 hour difference. They'd need something like 3 days in between series just to recoup.

            Interesting....if MLB does this and it's sucessful it could open the doors for a European baseball league just like Babe Ruth's visit along with other MLB stars in Japan helped to create the J League. It took Japan about 50 yrs to produce players good enough for the Majors and I predict that if the European experiment is successful that it would take about half that time for Europeans to make it to the Majors.
