Best Balanced Park for an Expansion team?
I've been trying to find a baseball park that favors both types of hitters. But I can't seem too. Right now I've been playing in Locko Dome but it seems to only favor contact hitters, and the CPU never gets runs in this stadium. I shutout the CPU 3 games straight on All-Star Classic hitting. And the pitchers were Dave Burba, Fransisco Cordova, and Dave Milicki. I've been considering switching and making another Expansion team. And I was thinking about Skinner Stadium, that seems like a fair park. Does anyone else play there??Tags: None -

I too have been searching for the perfect stadium for an expansion team. I've gone through Drubel County, which is nice if you're planning to make a relatively bad team, because the feel just fits for it. Enzo feild is okay if you're sure the rare color of green from the grape vines on the outfeild walls won't drive you insane as they did me. Skinner Stadium seems not to exist, as I instead got the glitch stadium with the floating heads and messed up camera angles....I swear they should rename that park the Twilight Zone!
Now I'm trying Fischback Feild, because it looks like a pretty even place to play. I'll tell you how it goes once I get to play at home. -

I always prefer MailMan Field. It is a pretty big field but has a short right field wall.My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: Best Balanced Park for an Expansion team?
I like Locko Dome but power hitters don't stand a chance in it, cause the outfielders play so deep. Which makes it hard for the CPU to score runs. I played Fischbach for 20 games and I hit HR's with lots of people, so I decided to stay out of that place after I had hit 50+ homers and had a .400 average playing there. I've been thinking about playing at Skinner stadium. Or possibly Whitaker Grounds. Has anyone tried the grounds yet???Comment

I like the "Fish" as well. Just be careful of the high wall (invisible!$%&in right. Colors are cool thought and it does feel like a real stadium.

Re: Best Balanced Park for an Expansion team?
I play at the Z dome. It's an equal opportunity stadium. . . .sucky hitters or super power hitters have the same chance of going yard.
I mean, who can't hit one 265 feet???
It's weird, but my first season there I didn't have one player with even 20 hr's (erstad led the team with 18 hr and 78 rbi). I won the WS though.Comment

Re: Best Balanced Park for an Expansion team?
Whitaker is extremely large. You'll never know just how large until you try it for yourself. Pretty much every one of your players has to have a speed of A+ to catch any pop flies or even line drives. It really is THAT BIG.
I tried Fischback last night and it IS easy to hit in that place, but as was said earlier, it does look the most realistic. I'm gonna go try all of them and decide which one is best. I just tried out Acclaim Sports Park, and it's okay. It's harder to pitch and hit in, but it doesn't have the feel of a real park. However, if you want it to be equally tough, it is the slightest bit tougher to hit and pitch on both sides of the game. Next I'll try The Mac. How cool would it be to be able to watch every home game from your apartment building?Comment
