Slide step...

Can not find in manual. How do you do a slide step while pitching? I see the CPU do it but can not find it anywhere...(The manual as usual leaves a lot to be desired)

You push in the left analog stick as you begin the windup.

yep on x-box just hold the left anolog down...before you pitch, not sure about ps2.

Tried it and it doesn't work for me. All that does is cause my pitches to be thrown low...and no slide step.

just press the left analog stick like a button and hold it down while you are aiming your pitch. Keep it pressed down until after you pitch.
