Re: CPU Steals
Usually that's the case, but last night in a game against Colorado, I struck out a batter and threw out the runner attempting to steal second for a non-traditional double play.I have faith in God that the Vikings will win the Super Bowl before I die... -

This is very common in real baseball. Batters take lots of pitches to give the baserunner a nice chance to steal.
So I dont know what the point of the original post is.

While yes it is common for batters to take a few pitches to allow a player to steal it is also common for such things as hit and run and batter do swing at good pitches when a player steals as well.
In my case I noticed that the CPU has YET to swing when they steal. I have played a ton of games. So I wanted to know if anyone else had an experience where the CPU did swing.
Thanks so much for your basball wisdom, though.Comment

Re: CPU Steals
I've seen a few, but not nearly as many as there should be. Although I've had more than a few hit and runs that the cpu worked to perfection..***nner steals, second baseman goes to cover, batter hits a wussie grounder through the newly unoccupied hole at 2nd...
Not enough of them though.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment
