This Game Kicks ***!!!! 0-4 as the Rangers, lol!!!

The only thing I see wierd are the skin colors of some of the players. For example, ARod looks a little darker than real life. But none of that affects how much I like the game.

This game best represents baseball in it's truest form.

Just a question though:

I noticed that my pitching kicks *** in the first 3 innings. The CPU swings at balls, strikes, waits for pitches (if they are a patient hitter). I've even walked a few. However, as soon as it hits the 4th inning with me pitching, the CPU seems to play like the Yankees. Hitting everything and anything off of you. I have had the CPU hit homeruns off of me in their cold zone. All of this lasts until the end of the 7th inning. So far, through the first 4 games, I am 0-4. The Angels were tough as hell, while the Mariners first game was fast paced, hardly any scoring.

But I can't complain...this game is just the type of baseball game I've been looking for.

I've had this game for about a month now. I'm almost through the first year of my franchise with the A's. I notice the same thing about pitching. Usually my good pitchers are extremely efficient and effective through the first 3-5 innings. Near the half way mark of their stamina, their pitching is fallable. I find that I need to be more careful with my pitches - especially facing hitters that are opposite my throwing hand.

i can really tell when the stamina meter is about 75% full. you really have to hit the corners when you get tired and i like that. curves hang more, sliders dont slide as much.

You know what you wanna do? Change your pitching coach's stamina slider UP.

no offense but you do know that the Rangers suck right? Sounds like typical Ranger pitching to me LOL. Try adjusting your sliders and reall ymix up your pitches and location. Go M's

Oh I know that they suck. Apparently the Rangers office don't think pitching is important if you own the best shortstop in the league.

I do mix up my pitches alot. I was commenting on it. I already figured it out. Won my first game against the Mariners in the second game of the series. 3-3 going into the bottom of the ninth. ARod comes to the plate. Goes 3-2 before blasting a line drive up the middle for a single. Then Palmeiro comes to bat. Just as the pitcher was starting to wind up, ARod took off (told him to). The pitch came in low and tight. Palmeiro swung (was in his hot zone), connected, and knocked it 400+ feet over the right field wall, about 3 feet away from the foul pole. Won that game 5-3 and when he hit the HR, I jumped up out of my chair and almost shouted out with joy, but quickly shut up when I remember my fiance was sleeping, lol. It was the best feeling winning that game, compared to winning the Superbowl in Madden, lol.

Thats typical Palmero he is a M's killer congrats on your win. I kid you not though i did play the Rangers on one game and they killed me i was playing on AllStar i lost like 24-2 i couldnt stop them thats before i learned how to pitch better mix up my pitches and locations better. What diff level you have it set on and sliders etc? I hear ya though i get into it the same way to pitch by pitch. i love the pitcher cam view
