I found another fun way to play ASB

This is by no means something inventive. Everyone knows about this, but maybe you never tried this.
I decided to let the cpu have control over the pitcher while he was on the mound. In the "player control" screen, you can determine if the cpu controls anyone on offense or defense. I tried letting the cpu control the pitcher on the mound, and I randomly let the cpu control 3 batters per game. It was kind of fun because my pitcher sometimes would walk a few batters, and when the cpu controlled batters were up, I had no control on what happened. It was actually kind of dramatic, and made me focus a little more on when to take the pitcher out.
I thought it was a fun way to play every now and then, and of course you change any of the controls at any time of the game, give it a try.

I totally agree !!!!

I love letting the computer control my pitcher.. It`s so dramatic
I also let the COM control half of my team

Makes for some great action

Yea Nikeford, I've tried this somwhat! I usually let the cpu control my pitchin', but lately they've been walkin' a [censored] load of batters, anyway i haven't tried the 3 cpu controlled batters yet....I'll give it a try though!!! Thanks!!

I had a lot of fun with this the other night, If I didn't have too, I could go a whole season without walking a batter. But if I let the cpu control the pitcher for a period of time, or the whole game, then walks become more of an issue. I love this idea.

Your right Nikeford, This is Fun as Hell, and it's it's just like in real Life....The Red's pitchin' sucks this way too!!
The realism is unbelievable. They walk 5 to 10 batters a game!!! Wow! They just walked in the winning run!!!
You definitely have to work for a win!!!

That's the only way I play. I only control myself, period. Lots of people don't see the fun in that but for me it is the only way I play. Same way with even Madden etc... I create myself on D and will only control "me".

Ya Im considering only controling myself and letting the rest of the team be on COM control

With real pitchers on COM control you get very realistic results

.....Now I just need an Auto manage option
I suck at deciding when to change a pitcher and who to put in LOL
