I will be going to new Yankee Stadium on Friday. I should be able to post some pics and vids then too. Stay tuned.

I've seen pictures of New Yankee Stadium...That thing is not a ballpark it's a Cathedral of Excess! Although I gotta say I didn't see much of the field as there was still snow around.

Not sure exactly how they judged that though. I hope it wasn't on the college game because the pitcher for SJ was like 18 and these guys were hitting with aluminum. Even still the only ball that got out just cleared the wall in the LF corner. I'm more curious to see how it will play when major leaguers hit there.

They said guys have taken BP in the park already. I'm sure major league hitters can gauge a park even during BP.

Was that for the Georgetown/St Johns game?
The pictures with all the mist around the field gave me goosebumps...just made me want to go live in NY and go to Mets games all the more.

They had a college game where everyone could get in for 5 bucks and check out the place. A lot of things still aren't quite finished and the weather was atrocious but it was still cool.

Yeah it was that game. The weather was disappointing but I guess you would be used to it over there. I can't wait to see the park in full daylight or at night under the lights.

Haha yeah definately used to bad weather over here lol.
I just thought the mist made the photos look real atmospheric.
Yeah it should look amazing when the season opens, I've been a little down on Citi Field but all the recent photos(And MLB 09 The Show)have kinda changed my mind.
I look forward to seeing how it plays too.
