I love it. As a displaced Sox fan () it's awesome. Plus, unlike the Extra Innings, I can get it on the go on my laptop and/or while I multitask on my Computer. It's cheaper too.

If you have a fast connection, there's little to no drop off in quality. And even with a mediocre connection, the quality is solid. Definitely worth it IMO.

I'm thinking of signing up for this, especially now that our only coverage in the UK, on Channel 5, has been stopped. I'm a bit worried about some comments regarding the archives section not working properly, though. Being in the UK I'll be using that a fair bit I suppose. I doubt I'll stay up every night watching the Western games finish! Is it working okay now? Any other European based subscribers around?

hey guys. i am a college student and i was wondering if i could temporarily share someones mlbtv account while i am still at school. I have not been able to watch any of my teams games and it is killing me. especially with mlb taking off the mid game highlights, all i am left watching is the boring gameday screen. please, i would be very grateful.

I am a Giants fan, excluding Barry Bonds. i have always enjoyed barry zito, especially now with his sub 4 era. i go to school in pennsylvania and they never show the Giants.

Re: MLB.TV - Major League Baseball online

MLB.TV edits all the games down to a 10-20 minute package that has all the hits, walks, outs and other meaningful plays. They cut out most of the pitches, BS between pitches, replays, commercials, etc and make it available the morning after the game. This is supposed to be only for subscribers to the $15-20/month MLB.TV.
For whatever reason, MLB.TV can't get it to work as part of the subscriber service, so rather than not make it available to anyone, it is (for now) available to everyone.
It is great for people who don't want to spend 3+ hours watching a baseball game and don't mind waiting until the next day to catch all the meaningful plays.

Click on "Watch" under "Condensed Game" for whatever game you want to watch. You can also go back a few days to check out previous games.
Expect this to become subscriber-only at some point. But enjoy it now for free.

ive subscribed to the season but didnt notice or know about the condensed feature. Wicked cool feature. Glad I saw your post. Just wish the Next Def was a little better with lag and quality.

I have a HP Pavillion DV2500 and it worked well for me.

I would run S-Video out into the TV though, still looked good.
