Any new results regarding pitcher stamina?

Just wondering if any of the new test found anything substantial.

The best luck I have had is in when I increased the speed and movement of the staring pitchers. This made it much more difficult for me to hit. As such my hits when I played the game were cut in half. It is now the norm for the pitcher to stay in until the 7th inning unless he stinks to begin with. Granted I have only played a handful of games with these edits but they sure have been fun.

Yes but RedDog have you tried simming a season to see the stats? A typical MVP baseball simmed season contains 15 starters with ERA's under 3.00. And you actually made pitchers even better? Wow.

As far as stamina goes its hardcoded into the game. There's nothing we can do..

Nah I have not simmed a season yet. But, what I do know is that when I am pitching with a guy whose numbers I beefed up, the CPU gets the same amount of hits (not less like I figured it would). It all depends on how good you are in the game. I am not the greatest hitter to begin with. These changes have made it hard for me to get hits and the pitchers seem to stay in the game longer as a result. Of course, though I have only played a handful of games.

RedDog are you playing on all-star?? try it its not that hard. Its also very realistic. I get box scores like this all the time:

                    Dodgers 2 7 0
                    Giants 3 8 0

Yeah I am playing on allstar. I found I was getting to many hits on the other two settings. The game is a blast I just wish I could find the time to finish tweaking everything so I could actually start my franchise!
