i totally agree with the helton/olerud theory. coors field is a joke and baseball doesn't belong in denver anymore than it belongs on the north pole.
and yes, i'm serious, cruz is going to have a monster year

Since when does having 30/30 make you the MVP. Especially, when he's not even the best player on his own team.

                    !?!?!?!?!? WHAT?

kent won an mvp and he wasn't the best player on his team, not even close.

i didn't say being a 30/30 guy made him an MVP, if you'd been following the entire thread you would see that my point is bonds makes those around him better, much better. jeff kent was nothing more than a decent player before he got to play with bonds and he's not setting the world on fire in houston, which is a great hitter's park.

cruz jr. on the other hand has been much more than just a decent player before he came to the giants, so common sense would stand to reason that he will improve by hitting either in front of or behind bonds,

basically i'm saying that if kent can win an mvp hitting in the same lineup as bonds, then it's not completely unreasonable to believe that cruz could do the same thing. ie: cruz has more talent than kent.
