    The "NEW" Yankee Stadium

We'll today I had the pleasure to see the NEW Yankee Stadium as the Yankees gave a FREE Preview of the Stadium & a chance to watch the Yankees workout for the 1st time in the NEW Stadium.

Man what a difference the NEW Stadium is compared to the OLD Stadium. The Yankees did a helluva job with this-1. It is really everything that I thought it would be.. They homage to the Yankee Greats the minute you walk into the stadium & all through out the stadium.

Simply breathtaking in every way. Looking forward to some great memories in the NEW Stadium...

    more to come later..

I really like the old timey look of some aspects of the stadium. It's nice that they used some of the architectural look of Yankee Stadium before it was renovated in the 70s.

Definitely has some Old Stadium feel, (Monument Park is much smaller now)

but this stadium is very modernized... There's so much open space it's not even funny. You'll never miss a thing while @ the concession stand as you can see the game while on line getting a Hot Dog.

Great pics. Not sure when I'm going to head out for a game. Probably won't be until June or July.

Looks pretty cool. I like it more than Nationals Park, it gives me the Heinz Field feel with all the big pictures of big moments and everything. How much was the final cost, again?

I gotta say I hate the Yanks but their new ballpark is BEEEE-YOOO-TIFUL. Love the big pictures all over the place with the legends and big moments. I can't say anything bad about this ballpark.

Great mix of the old and new and with the atmosphere that Yanks fans bring, this could be the best ballpark in the big leagues.

The banners I posted are 2 sided. 1 has a Black & White picture & the other side is in Color. The Stadium also has a Museum but it was off-limits to the public.

Can someone explain to me how the fans sitting against the sides of the luxury suites (that make up the batter's eye) are supposed to see the other sides of the field? For instance, the people sitting on the back right side of the wall should not be able to see pretty much anything past first base, correct?

Those are about as useless of seats as the seats behind the Chevron car at AT&T Park, which are deservedly closed off.

This is the biggest fault in the whole stadium..... That design choice was terrible. Outside of that the stadium is very well done
