    All interesting stuff.

Steelerfan. My concern with raising BE(S) is that the pitch count will come down.

My concern with MVP is that with the CPU batting average as high as 45 I managed to keep the Red Sox to 2 runs and about 7 hits with Brian Tallet ! I cant help believing that MVP and a CPU batting ability of 37 would lead to some no hitters........

Re: Need help with Variable Pitching

Time difference and lack of internet at home means that next update will be tommorrow morning for you guys. But I intend to try:

HVP, CPU batting 37, BE (S) 55. Other sliders as recommended on other threads here.

If I cant get HVP to work I think I'll use MVP and a high CPU Batting average and just live with the low pitch counts.

Logically though, there is a CPU batting average somewhere that will work with HVP to give realistic scores and pitch counts.

If I face a knuckleballer then I'll try again !

These are my settings and they work well for me
            CPU Pitching 95
            CPU Batting 40
            BE Balls 85
            BE Strikes 80
CPU Throw Strikes 10 or lower
            CPU Stealing 85
MVP: for CPU on Medium and for Human controlled on High
It seems that the top flight pitchers get alot of strikeouts you may want to try to lower there strikeout % i didn't do this yet but i am going to, and see how it works out

You're sliders look great at least theoretically. How are your pitch counts, Ks, BBs, hits for human and cpu on average.

Does BE(S) at 80 give you too many Ks with lower pitch counts?

Finally, what are some cons with these settings...if you are getting any. I'm just asking for an objective opinion about it.

Re: Need help with Variable Pitching

Well I tried CPU BA at 37 and I got some really close games and great pitch counts. Thanks WSB !

This was with HVP which I am now hooked on. After a few days of the new sliders I am starting to keep the CPU down to 1-2 runs per game so I am starting to up CPU BA.

My new issue is that I started to get too many hits with CPU PA at 80, Very Small Cursor and Fast Pitch speed. I therefore graduated to very fast which is pretty tough - I might need to reduce the CPU PA. Has anyone else been through this ?

                    BA (B) is 85. BA (S) is 50-55. CPU TS is 3.
