    Home Run %

Anyone fool around with this number in OddPoets editor? Wondering if it effects simmed stats or just gameplay. Anyone? If it is just a matter of increasing it to get realistic home runs against during gameplay that would be great.

The HR% can throw homers way out of whack, if you put it up around 60 or 70 the homers fly out left and right.....

It means HR's for everything, you hit them, they hit them, but I don't know if it screws with the sim stats.....will have to test.

Well, I upped Michael Barretts % up to like 80%. I simmed a season and he had 24 hrs 54 rbis in 631 abs. I don't think the hr% has much of an effect on simmed stats. I'm going to try again though with someone else.

A note....those 4 percentages add up to 100 percent, so you would have to lower the percentages for the other 3 to account for an increase in HR%.

Quick results, have to go to class...

Simmed 2 seasons, first with unchanged attribs and the 2nd season with Tim Salmon and Garrett Anderson edited.

Changed both of them to HR 25% FB 25% GB 25% LD 25%
(in both the rhattrib and lhattrib dats)

Their HR totals were virtually identical in both seasons....

More tests when I get home (stupid server class)

Yep did the same thing. Seems hr % doesn't have an effect on simmed stats. Good News!
