Here is what I am doing to make the game harder.

Using oddpoets editor, I am upping all of the hr%s and also editing the hot zones. There will be no more blue zones except for pitchers. I am changing the white zones to red and the blue zones to white on all of the position players. Hopefully these changes will affect gameplay for the better. Any thoughts or concerns?

I'm concerned that it is already too easy to hit and that doing too much will make it that much easier to hit....

I'm editing so that it will be harder to pitch. I agree that it is almost too easy to hit now. I would just like to see SOME more hrs from my lesser power hitters.

I need for the CPU to score more runs off me. It is way too easy to win and I am playing with the Tigers most of the time.

Dude, I give you full credit. We are in this together to try and make this game better. If you are worried someone stealing your thunder on this, it's pretty sad. Saying that, I, in my thread mentioned that I upped the hr % and made the players hot zones red and white only. Sorry man if you can't handle someone following up on your idea. I was just trying to spark some interest.

Im not really talking about thunder here. My main concern is that everybody shouldnt work on the same thing.

Also be careful messing with home run % because that will EFFECT YOUR SIMMED STATS GIVING SIMMED PLAYERS 80+ homers.. Stick with the red and blue zone editing for power hitters only. If you add red zones to non-power hitters then there will be 20 hits a game as well. Just my two cents..

Sim stats during a season haven't appeared to change, haven't tried on franchise. This was with a very significant changes to the HR%. On the flip side, the few games that I actually played didn't show much difference either, I played an entire game against the angels, throwing nothing but red mistake pitches the entire game and they hit 1 homerun.
