Sean Burroughs today was grazed on the foot by a cell phone in Wrigley Field today, I don't know if they'll note it Baseball Tonight or Sportcenter.

I was there today and actually noticed it, but didn't know it was a cell phone thrown at him. All I saw was him bend over and pick something up, hand it to the umpire, and then the inning went on. Play wasn't stopped and nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
As far as the incident, I wouldn't exactly call it an "attack." If you read what Burroughs said, it barely hit him. Yeah, I guess it would've been more of an attack if it hit him in the head or something, but IMO, I don't exactly think of a cell phone as an "attacking" weapon.
It would really suck if because of these few idiots if cell phones end up getting banned from games. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. -

AAAHHHHH! What would we do without a cell phone for 3 hours??!!!! We wouldn't be able to wave at out buddies watching the game on TV!!! I won't live in a world where cell phones are banned from baseball games!!!! (jumps out the window)

I too think people who do that are idiots, but I personally use my cell phone for business (and actually have had to answer a few business calls at games) but I prefer not to use it at all when at games, also, they are useful for emergencies, etc. I bring mine with me everywhere and it would just be a pain to have to remember to leave it in the car or at home, etc.Comment

Every Lib, I have met wants nothing more than MORE government control over our lives, more regulation by the government, and the banning of firearms or doing away with the 2nd Amendment all together (which as a responsible gun owner REALLY pisses me off) . Not to mention trying to take my SUV away from me, when that isnt infringing on anyone. Sorry, but I dont know too many "open minded" Libs when it comes to Conservative or Libertarian (like me) viewpoints. I believe you are speaking more of Liberal in a dictionary sense, more than you are in a political one.
