you know when you're trying to fix the rosters and sign a FA and it says you can't do it. even when i try to trade and OF for an OF it say it. What exactly does it mean and how do you get around it and make sure you can sign/trade a player without getting that message. thanks in advance for any info.

Check out the roster analysis screen. One of the annoying features of this game is that it wants a player listed at certain positions in order to balance out the back up positions. Sometimes a player is listed as playing 2 positions (DH/1B for ex) and there is no way that you can create that type of player, so you'll see this message often if you try to trade or release them.
