I may as well just throw it in the trash, because even though I love the graphics and some of the players movements in WSB ...the gameplay and pitcher/batter interface make MVP the most fun baseball game available.

Yea, I liked WSB last year, but I can't even bother to play it anymore. I can't EVER play a baseball game without a pitching meter and the whole cursor thing turns me off. Oh yea, don't even get me started on the Power button.

Dude same here WSB was the only baseball game I've played the past 2 years. I bought this years WSB before I got MVP and I tried to play it today and so many things made me crazy. Not being able to control the speed of pitches or throws on defense was killing me. WSB batting is just terrible, every batter looks like he's swinging a toothpick.
Dude do you like the way the outfielders throw the ball to the moon instead of throwing the ball on a line.....WTF!

Not being able to control the speed of pitches or throws on defense was killing me. WSB batting is just terrible, every batter looks like he's swinging a toothpick. I really enjoy controlling the speed of the throws in MVP. It is very satisfying to throw in the red zone even when the guy isn't taking an extra base. Love playing shortstop like Shawon Dunston used to for the Cubs.
You throw it away once in a while and pay the price for showing off. This is something that MVP really got right in my opinion

Its good to see people actually seeing MVP for what it is and how good a game it really is. Not perfect of course but still very good for its inaugral year. I remember before the game came out so many people were doubting the game... not many of those peeps anymore.

Yeah, I rented MVP and WSB this week. I currently own ASB and have grown tired of it. I rented the other 2 games to see which I'm going to trade ASB in for. It's a lot tougher choice than I thought going is, considering I loved WSB last year. The throwing aspect of MVP is outstanding. It's a great feeling to throw someone out at the plate from the outfield.Comment
