I'm sorry, I love this game and all but some of these posts are just ridiculous. How can any of you say "the injuries are awesome...I lost Bonds for 105 days...very realistic". As many people have pointed out the injuries never occur to a player involved in a play (except the pitcher). Yeah it is realistic for Barry Bonds to break his leg on a grounder to the SS. Maybe he was attacked by a seagull or something. As I said I love this game, but the injuries truly are the one aspect of this game that absolutely and unequivacably sucks. They must be fixed for next year, it is not even a question. I did play last years version, but did random injuries happen in it? It got to the point where I had to turn injuries off. I got fed up when I lost Cliff Floyd for 106 days or something on a grounder to the pitcher.

i lost russ ortiz for 25 days,and it didnt even tell me he was injured,it just suddenly cut to the bullpen screen

they way they happen sucks but the fact that they happen and the amount is good.

After all the guys I've already lost, last night I lose Kerry Robinson for 48 days.

So now I've lost:

Pujols
Marrero
Drew
Tomko
Robinson

All are going to be out a minimum of another 45 days, some 60 and 70 days.

I also just got Vina back from 14 days, and lost Renteria and Rolen for 7 and 8 days in the first week of the season.

I guess that explains why I am 16-22

Again, the worst thing is that I've burnt all my BP on free agents and Pujols contract is up and he wants 42 BP to resign.

I'm using the Pirates in a drafted franchise... so for I have Dye out for another 66 days, I got Cristian Guzman of for 48 more, I got Rolen out for 38 more, and that's his SECOND time on the DL, the first time I traded for Wigginton as his replacement. Now Wiggenton is out for 58 days! I'm sporting John McDonald at 3B now. And he's actually doing nicely too. Thank God!

My pitching staff has been relatively injury free, just the "strained something, out for 1 day" type of thing here and there..

What pissed me off was I previously lost Wigginington to a 7-day injury, I figured no biggie, then it says, "Wiggington has fully recovered, do you wish to place him in the line-up?" I say, "Sure." And now he's out for 58 days after that game! Sumbitch!

i just lost jermaine dye for 6 days with a hamstring pull, and it was right after he hit his third double of the game to give my team the lead in the top of the 10th. but still, at least it was a believable injury.

I will say this...it appears the injuries are predetermined. In the game I lost Marrero, I lost him for 70 days. The game locked up in the 8th inning and I had to restart it. I lost Marrero in the same inning for 68 days so it looks like it was going to happen no matter what.
