(2)you need a pitcher with a 1)4 seam fastball 2)sinker/splitter/or curveball and the 3)slider
Pitching to righty -
strike 1 - fast ball half on the meter on the very low corner of right handed batters side
strike 2 - sinker, splitter or curve ball all the way on meter on the opposite side
strike 3 - slider back to the lower corner on the righty side
if you have a lefty just reverse the sides, make sure all the pitches are down and all the way on the corner so the controller barely barely vibrates. hope it helps.

(3)First of all, it's easiest if the pitcher you're using has at least 2 of the four following pitches in his arsenal:
Average Curveball
Average Slider
Good-Great 2 Seam Fastball
Average 4 Seam Fastball
The first pitch you should throw is an off speed pitch (preferably a curveball, but a slider will work) in the bottom left corner of the strike zone. Make sure when you aim the pitch that the corner point of the box is in the middle of the pitching cursor (basically, half of the ball should be in the zone and half out). Throw the pitch. 90% of the time, they will take the pitch and it will be a strike. The other 10% they will swing and either miss or make extremely soft contact.
The next pitch should be a slider or 2 seam fastball on the bottom right of the strike zone. Again, when you aim, make sure that the bottom right point is in the middle of the pitching cursor. Throw the pitch. Almost 99% of the time, they will simply take the pitch for a strike. There are occasions when they will swing, but it's very rare.
The last pitch you should throw is a 4 seam fastball about 1 or centimeters above the top of the strike zone. Make sure you're aiming the cursor high enough so that you can see a tiny gap between the pitching cursor and the strike zone. If you aim the pitch too low, they'll swing and make contact with the pitch which you don't want. If you aim it right, the CPU will swing and miss about 75%-80% of the time. If the CPU does not swing (some of the better players won't), repeat the first pitch you threw (the curve in the bottom left) and the CPU will simply swing and miss for a strikeout. Rinse and repeat.
Keep in mind that this technique DOES WORK. If the CPU is still getting hits or you're not striking people out, it's because you're not locating the pitches correctly or you're throwing different pitch types. Again, I'm working on an FAQ that will have little graphs and show the exact locations, but for now this is the best I can tell you. Enjoy and pitch wisely!
This will get the CPU to hit some bloops.
